NCTA: Connecting Consumer with Technology
The Results
Consumers were introduced, engaged, and educated on how the cable industry continues to connect the consumer with ever-changing technologies in a 20,000 sf and 7,000 sf space as well as a permanent showroom.
The Need
The National Cable & Telecommunications Association wanted to promote, engage and educate
consumers about a broad range of cable applications.
The challenge the NCTA faced was appealing to a wide range of age demographics through messaging, communication channels and implementation methods.

The Mission
To create temporary physical environments that enabled varying demographic groups to view, experience and interact within the home and community highlighting the following:

The Approach
- 20,000 sf Broadband Nation: Streetscape of a coffee shop, cable company, a suburban home, loft, school, health clinic and a movie theater. Allowed the consumer to view what enterprise applications were available within their homes and communities.
- 7,000 sf Home: A simulated residence that incorporated technology within every room, including smart appliances, on-line and real time exercise trainers, physicians and cable in the classroom.
- 750 sf Apartment allowed visitors, members and association guests to interact with current cable applications and technologies.
